After you have created and confirmed your paywalls, you are ready for setting up the display of these paywalls to your users.

For this, you need to use Displays in the Deepwall management console, which allows you to manage which paywalls will be displayed to which target users.

You can target your users geographically and display different paywalls to your users in different countries. You can also use attribution-based targeting to display campaigns or add channel-based paywalls to your users.

You also have the option to display different paywalls to your users who installed your app for the first time and for your users who use it regularly.

Activate Default Displays

First, you need to set up default displays for the default paywalls that'll be displayed to all of your users, and then you can create as many displays as you want for different target audiences.

Deepwall creates default displays for each in-app action to display to your users by default. You should configure those default displays by choosing paywalls to display and start them before creating targeted displays.

When you are finished with the default display configuration and started it, your users who are not being targeted with any other active display will start to see the paywalls you have set with default displays.

See the following guide to learn the details about the activation of default displays.

Create Targeted Displays

After you have configured and activated your default target audiences, you can create displays for different target audiences according to their countries, languages, and/or by targeting them according to their attribution.

Create a new display by clicking New Display in the Displays tab. While creating a display, you choose your target users and paywalls to display. If you want to display a different paywall to your users who downloaded and opened your app for the first time, you can choose a different paywall for the first display and subsequent displays.

When you are finished with the display configuration, just start it. Now your targeted users will start seeing the paywalls you have set.

See the following guide to learn more about creating targeted displays.

Display Mapping

After targeted and default displays have been created and when multiple displays are active, the priority is determined according to the target users' selection criteria and the user is redirected to the display that matches at the highest level.

See the following guide to learn more about prioritization and mapping.

Display Reports

When you have activated a display, you can use Display Report to track how many times this display has been triggered, how many times your paywalls have been viewed by your users, and how many in-app purchases have been made from this display. You can also see detailed conversion and revenue analytics by country.

See the following guide to learn more about display reports.

Manage Displays

You can start/stop your targeted displays by activating or deactivating them anytime. You can also edit displays to make changes in paywall selection or target users. You can also archive paywalls if you don't need them anymore.

See the following guide to learn more about managing displays.
