In this section, you will learn how to create paywalls for your app without any coding from the Deepwall Console.

Configure In-App Products

You need to configure the in-app product you want to offer before creating a paywall. If you have not configured your in-app products yet, please refer to the guide for in-app product configuration:

Start Creating A Paywall

Navigate to the Paywalls menu on the Deepwall management console and click Create New Paywall.

1. Give It A Name

Name your paywall and write a description (optional). Then click Next to save your changes and proceed to the next step.

2. Select A Design Theme

Select a theme you like by clicking one of the design theme image.

3. Choose Product(s) To Offer

Once a theme is selected, you will be redirected to the design tab where you can select the in-app products you want to offer via your paywall. The number of products to select depends on the selected theme and selection is mandatory for all products in the theme.

Products are selected from the in-app products you have configured before. Please refer to the guide for in-app product configuration here:

4. Customize The Look & Feel

After you have selected your product(s), you can also configure the look & feel of your paywall in the Paywall Design tab to visualize your paywall the best way to reflect your app.

See the guide to learn configuration details of all design elements in a paywall.

See the guide to learn how to manage texts and translation for multi-lingual support :

5. Preview and Confirm

Deepwall provides a live preview of the paywall which is very close to how it looks on the mobile device.

You can see the preview in different languages supported in your app, also you can preview in different screen sizes, and check how the changes you make will look on different phones and tablets.

Additionally, you can see the dark mode preview to check how your paywall appearence changes with the light or dark modes.

Important Note About Paywall Preview

Although the paywall preview provides a fairly approximate view, it is browser-based, and it may not give exactly the same result as the native app.

We recommend that you always test your paywalls on different mobile devices.

You'll need to confirm a paywall before publishing it to your users. You can edit your paywalls until you confirm them, but once confirmed, editing is not allowed. To make changes to the confirmed pages, you can create a new paywall by copying it.

Once you have confirmed your paywall, you are ready to publish your paywall in your app. See the guide to learn how to configure display of paywalls :
